For one week at the beginning of August, the people of Villach celebrate their centuries-old customs.<\/p>\n<p>The customs week is known for its colorful parades, traditional costumes, live music and culinary delights. One of the highlights is the award ceremony for the best Kircht\u00e5gssupm. The most important highlight of Villach Kirchtag is the traditional costume parade, where numerous clubs and groups from the region present their magnificent traditional costumes.<\/p>\n<h3>Perfect for Families<\/h3>\n<p>Every day, the Kircht\u00e5gssupm, beer tapping, regional specialties and Austrian wines attract visitors. Musicians, dancers, traditional bearers and costume clubs enliven the cityscape, and in addition to the traditional events, Villach Kirchtag also offers a wide range of activities for children and families. For example, there is a Ferris wheel, merry-go-rounds and other rides that provide fun and entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, the Kirchtag in Villach is an unforgettable experience for young and old
