If you are traveling to Villach with children, the Boutique Hotel Goldenes Lamm on the main square offers family-friendly accommodation with spacious rooms, an extensive breakfast buffet and everything you need for a pleasant family vacation. Our privately run hotel is suitable for short stays as well as longer stays in Carinthia.

Spacious rooms for families with children

Our spacious triple and quadruple rooms are available for families. These are equipped with a double bed and one or two extra beds or a sofa bed.

Our family rooms for up to four people also each have a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi.

Children up to the age of three stay free of charge in their parents’ bed. From the age of three, we charge 12 euros per night per child sleeping in the parents’ bed. Cribs for our youngest guests are available for an extra charge of just 18 euros per night.

The buffet in our air-conditioned breakfast room offers a wide selection of regional products, fresh fruit and vegetables, homemade delicacies and coffee specialties. Of course, vegan and gluten-free options are also available for you and your family.
• Dinner in our family-friendly partner restaurant: You and your family can enjoy your dinner in our partner restaurant in the hotel. There are attractive discounts for our hotel guests.
• Erlebnis Card included: As hotel guests, you and your family receive the Erlebnis Card free of charge. It offers access to a wide range of leisure activities in the region and is ideal for a family vacation with children. You will receive the card when you book your room. So you can plan your excursions in advance.
• Flexible solutions: Every family is different – whether with a baby, toddler or several children of different ages. As a privately run hotel, we can respond flexibly to individual requirements and coordinate your stay with you. A non-binding inquiry is all it takes to clarify the details.
• Dogs welcome: Your four-legged family members are also very welcome here. We provide a water bowl, towels and rugs free of charge on request. For stays of up to three nights, we charge a flat cleaning fee of 15 euros per dog and stay. For longer stays, a further 15 euros will be charged.

Relaxed stay with short distances

An uncomplicated family vacation with short distances awaits you here. Restaurants, cafés and shopping facilities are within easy walking distance on Villach’s main square.

The surrounding area also offers a large selection of child-friendly excursion destinations. The Kärnten Therme spa with its water worlds is particularly popular with families and is easily accessible. Those who prefer nature will find several idyllic bathing lakes in the immediate vicinity, which are ideal for a relaxing day by the water. There are also many other excursion destinations and sights to discover in the region.

Those arriving by car will find a parking space in our courtyard for an extra charge and subject to availability. However, families can also easily reach Villach city center without a car. The main train station is just a four-minute walk from the Goldenes Lamm. From there, trains and buses run in all directions.
